Why does homemade treats cost so much?

To start a process of homemade treats one must go spend the money for natural, wholesome ingredients. These are more costly then all your standard ingredients and they are healthier for the dogs. Then comes the time: time to set up, time to mix, time to roll and cut out treats, time to bake all the goodness and time to dehydrate certain treats ( this could be up to 4 hours). Now it’s time for pictures, packaging and marketing. When all is said and done, a baker will put in 3-4 hours of work in with 1 kind of treat. Then you multiply this with how many treats they are offering. This added to cost of ingredients is why the price of the treats are more than your local pet store. But, way better for your pup!
